Fab Find: Vintage Maps and Map Box

This was a mega great I kept it! Manchester College was demolishing their administration building so they auctioned off the contents. They had so many vintage maps. I was the high bidder for choice maps ($20!!) and selected several. In another room, they sold the oak map box with three maps. I was the high bidder at $75! Woot! Woot! Fortunately the men's soccer team was on hand to remove it from the wall and tote it to my vehicle for a donation to the team. I sold several of the maps in my booth for tidy profit. I selected my favorite maps, added a french cleat to the back of the map box and hung it in my living room. I love it! I love that I can change the look by simply pulling down a different map.
